Once we receive your booking, we put all the logistics and trained local people in place so you can sit back and enjoy your vacation time with us.

Tanzania safaris and tailor-made tour prices are based on the locations visited, the number of tour days, the accommodation requested and the number of people in the booking. For some itineraries, flights will also be included in the quoted price.

Our safari programs are priced individually and inclusions and exclusions will be clearly stated on the proposal we send. However, a general list of the Tanzania safari service details are provided for your information below.

Please consider when booking your safari that park fees are different depending on the wildlife areas included in the program.

The service conditions on this web page apply to Kilimanjaro and safari bookings for a minimum of two people.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason.

Tanzania Wildlife safari:

Safaris are priced individually based on the time of year, the wildlife areas visited, the chosen accommodation, the number of people in the booking and the number of days on safari.

Safaris to visit Tanzania's northern parks are in private 4X4 vehicles.

For safaris based in the southern parks you will fly-in to the location. Game viewing activities will be in shared 4X4 vehicles unless private is requested (extra charges apply). Boating, ballooning and bush walking are possible in some wildlife parks.

Tanzania Safari Service:

Safari vehicles:

We provide 4X4 Lancruisers. The vehicles are Tanzanian registered, taxed, insured and fully serviced. They are specifically adapted for safari with a viewing roof hatch, high frequency radio, cool-box and plenty of storage. The vehicle(s) have seating capacity for 5, 6 or 7 guests plus driver.

There are essentially two types of accommodation for your safari comfort:

Tanzania safari lodges:

Safari lodges provide facilities comparable to international 3* 4* & 5* hotels. All are located in stunning locations inside and outside the wildlife areas and some provide a swimming pool. The lodge service we book for our guests is always full-board i.e. all meals and bottled water.

Tanzania tented camps:

Tented camps are set up in remote but equally stunning locations. They can be either permanent or semi-permanent sites (i.e. located to catch the migration activity). Tents are spacious and offer a level of comfort you would wish for on your dream safari: Solar lighting, heated water, bathroom, comfortable beds, bed linen, 'room' service, bar, restaurant and some with swimming pool.

A camping safari is for the adventurous traveler and not a luxury option. For visitors on a budget we provide adventure camping safaris on request.

  • Safari and travel information pack
